How to measure yourself:

(Write down the measurements in inches or centimeters)

Whether you choose to go with standard sizing or custom measurements, please be sure to follow our recommendations on how to measure yourself correctly to ensure your item delights you when it arrives. Ensure you measure over the undergarments you plan to wear when you wear the item. Keep your tape measure level and close, and don’t pull it too tight. If possible, have a friend or family member measure you – it's more accurate!

Shoulder:

To measure your shoulder width, use a flexible tape measure and place it at the tip of one shoulder (where the shoulder meets the arm). Stretch it across your upper back to the tip of the other shoulder, following the natural curve of your body. Keep the tape snug but not too tight, and ensure you’re standing straight with your arms relaxed. This measurement helps guarantee that the shoulders of your made-to-order garment align perfectly with your frame. For accuracy, repeat the measurement and double-check the result.

Bust:

To measure your bust accurately, wear your usual bra and stand with your arms relaxed at your sides. Using a flexible tape measure, wrap it around the fullest part of your bust, typically across the nipple line. Ensure the tape is parallel to the ground and snug but not tight, allowing for a comfortable fit. This measurement ensures that your made-to-order garment fits perfectly around your bust, providing both comfort and support. For the best results, take the measurement twice to confirm consistency.

Under-bust:

To measure your underbust, wrap a soft measuring tape snugly around your torso, just beneath your bust where the bra band sits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and ensure it is snug but not too tight, allowing normal breathing. Stand naturally with relaxed arms and exhale before taking the measurement for accuracy. Use this measurement to determine your band size for bras, corsets, or fitted tops.

Wearing Waist:

To measure your waist, wrap a soft measuring tape around your natural waistline, where you typically wear your pants. Keep the tape snug but not too tight, ensuring it stays parallel to the floor. Stand naturally, exhale gently, and avoid sucking in your stomach for an accurate measurement.

Natural Waist:

To measure your natural waist, wrap a soft measuring tape around the narrowest part of your torso, just below your ribcage. This is typically where your body creases when you bend to the side. Keep the tape snug but comfortable, ensuring it stays parallel to the floor, and exhale naturally before taking the measurement for accuracy.

Length of Arm:

To measure your sleeve length, stand straight with your arm relaxed at your side and slightly bent. Place the measuring tape at the tip of your shoulder and extend it down to your wrist bone. Ensure the tape follows the natural curve of your arm. For accuracy, ask someone to assist you in holding the tape in place.

Upper Arm:

To measure your upper arm (bicep), bend your elbow slightly and wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your upper arm. Keep the tape snug but not too tight, ensuring it stays level around the arm for an accurate measurement.

Hips:

To measure your hip circumference, stand with your heels together and wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, approximately 8 inches (20 cm) below your natural waistline. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and ensure it fits snugly without digging into your skin for an accurate measurement.

Total Rise:

Standing upright, place the measuring tape at the centre of your back at your natural waist. Keeping the tape in place, pass it between your legs, measuring all the way up front to the middle of your natural waist. Be sure the tape is not too tight or too loose.

Hip at Crotch:

To measure your lower hip, wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, where your body meets the top of your thighs. Stand with your feet together, keep the tape parallel to the floor, and ensure it is snug but not tight for an accurate measurement.

Thigh:

To measure your thigh, stand with your weight evenly distributed and wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of one thigh. Keep the tape snug but not too tight, ensuring it stays parallel to the floor for an accurate measurement.

Calf:

To measure your calf, sit or stand with your leg relaxed and wrap a soft measuring tape around the fullest part of your calf. Keep the tape snug but not tight, ensuring it stays parallel to the floor for an accurate measurement.

Inseam:

To measure your inseam, stand straight with your legs slightly apart and place a soft measuring tape at the highest point of your inner thigh (crotch). Extend the tape straight down to your ankle bone, keeping it close to your leg. For the most accurate measurement, ask someone to assist you.

Outseam:

To measure your outseam, stand straight and place a soft measuring tape at your wearing waistline (where you typically wear your pants). Extend the tape straight down the outside of your leg to your ankle bone, keeping it flat against your body for an accurate measurement.

Vertical Length - HPS to Floor:

To measure the full length for a one-piece Anarkali or dress, place a soft measuring tape at the highest point of your shoulder (where the shoulder meets the neck). Extend the tape straight down to the floor, ensuring you stand tall with a natural posture. Keep the tape close to your body for an accurate measurement. If you plan to wear heels, consider measuring while wearing them for the correct length.

Vertical Length - Waist to Floor:

To measure the length for a lehenga, place a soft measuring tape at your natural waist (where you typically wear the lehenga) and extend it straight down to the floor. Stand tall with a natural posture, keeping the tape close to your body. If you plan to wear heels, measure while wearing them for the most accurate length.

Horizontal Length - Blouse Length:

To measure the blouse length, place a soft measuring tape at the Highest Point of Shoulder (HPS) (where the shoulder meets the neck) and extend it straight down to just below the bust. Keep the tape close to your body and maintain a natural posture for an accurate measurement.
